I am married to Katie and dad to Addie, Jackson and Isaac. I am currently the pastor of Union Park Presbyterian Church is Des Moines and the First Presbyterian Church of Grimes.

I have pastored churches in Aberdeen, Washington, Morton Grove, IL and Cooke City, Montana. I have degrees from Westmont College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I root for the Cubs, the Bears, and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The title of the blog is "Grace is Sufficient." These are the words Jesus spoke to Paul when he pleaded for the hardship he was experiencing in life to be removed (2 Corinthians 12:9). Jesus didn't remove the hardship but he promised Paul that his grace was sufficient to carry him through. I hope the articles you find on this site will always remind you that Christ's grace is sufficient.
